Present-day Kosovo. The time for democracy and human rights has come. Over the last ten years Kosovo has become a laboratory, a place where you can learn how to rebuild a nation out of a wasteland. The international community has sent an armada of Human Rights experts to change the country into a democracy worthy of joining Europe. Through the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe), Melina, Norbert and Pol have come from France, Holland and Spain to work in this small country. They arrive with their enthusiasm, determination, preconceived ideas and individual emotional baggage. Implementing democracy is not an easy task, but they’ve been trained for the job.
