Really well done mid-20th century period piece biopic of Great Britain’s most notorious hangman and criminals. Timothy Spall did a fantastic job.

They picked the perfect artist to play Pierpoint
Timothy spall has become a distinguished actor over the yrs
But Wasnt the last man hanged made into a film too, there albert peirpoint would have there to dispatc him [ even tho it prove dafterwards the young man wasnt really mentally fit for trial]
A great film and dealt with the delicate issue brilliantly
