I mean, it’s insane that we started out as a species near this wild place, and a million years later, it’s still a wild place, and we aren’t there. How does that work? I don’t know, but a wild place with no humans sounds like paradise to me.

No doubt! You’d have to have appropriate protection. I’d love to see our Grizzlies, but I’m not heading out into the Alaskan wilderness w/out a high-powered shotgun.

Most of the Treks/tours through Okavango are on hold because of the severe drought there in that part of Africa. They say it may start again soon but the drought continues…
