Living in the U.S. since the 1970’s, Mitsuo never because documented and his story echoes the plight of immigrants who come stateside seeking the American Dream but without the social protections, or the privileges of citizenship, ultimately fall through the cracks. The film is told in Japanese with English subtitles.
