The Box is a story about a female prostitute who has been mentally and physically abused repeatedly. The film follows her struggles as she searches for her sense of self. In her journey of finding hope, she realises that she must break out of the system that has stolen everything from her. This might mean doing things that even appear immoral. Being as deeply entrenched as she is in the system, will she actually be able to break free? |
