‘Forty-five’ is the story of Efe, who received his education in the United States and lives there away from his family, but with a successful career; his desperation after failing to reach his father and his sister in the aftermath of the earthquake of August 1999 in Turkey and his search for them in Istanbul. It is also a story of his coming across, throughout his search, with all these values he has lost or he has forgotten over time. |
