‘As one blue-collar city struggles with the decline of its manufacturing sector, another community embraces their green energy future. Port Burwell is cashing in on a new wind farm built in the community that’s providing income and jobs to residents. Meanwhile, St. Thomas is getting hit hard as the seemingly endless stream of factory closures continues to cripple the community. The Ontario government is promising to create 50,000 jobs in the renewable energy sector, and betting that green jobs will be able to help provide the foundation for the economy of the future.
