Details:

The South African Border War, commonly referred to as the Angolan Bush War in South Africa, refers to the conflict that took place from 1966 to 1989 in South -West Africa (now Namibia) and Angola between South Africa and its allied forces (mainly UNITA) on the one side and the Angolan government, South-West Africa People’s Organisation (SWAPO), and their allies - mainly Cuba - on the other. It was closely intertwined with the Angolan Civil War and the Namibian War of Independence. This film plays off against this backdrop. The year is 1978 and the Angolan Bush War is reaching a crescendo. Operation Reindeer is in full swing. After losing his brother, a man learns the importance of humanity and the realities of war when his unit, capture SWAPO prisoners of war and transport them back over the borer towards friendly lines.
