Details:

Witten and directed by Nashville filmmaker, Greg J. Welsch this is an uplifting, short documentary on the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project. The YCCP is a medical/educational project where world renowned foot and ankle surgeons donate their time to treat poor Mayan children, performing life-altering surgeries on those who would otherwise go untreated. You will fight back tears as you watch a child take their first step and see a whole new life unfold before them. The YCCP has treated more than 7,400 children and made more than 70 trips to the Yucatan. Over 80 American students and residents have had their lives changed as well, escaping the classroom and assisting in surgeries and evaluating conditions in Mexico they might never have seen in the US.
