Trash and Moon is a film in which real events are documented in a dramatized environment, imparting the film a pitched Docudrama character. The film is about a young man living an urban life at the edge of urban materialistic psyche. He discovers the monotony of materialism and lives the chaos of getting rid of it, without compromising its undoubted advantages. The processes of his catharses is complimented by parallel dialog with Kinnauri Tribal of Himachal Pradesh (India) who live a life full of scarcities and yet seem much less baffled than Urban counterpart. The film tries to elaborate tribal way of a simple and satisfying life without making unnecessary mess of it by drawing two distinct cultures on the same Canvas. |
