A Child of War message conveyed is “our children matter.” Within each scene a beautiful adventure unfolds for the viewer. On this day, Brenda turns 12 and her dreams are realized. A spectacular day unfolds for her. Her mother plans the birthday party. During the party Brenda’s friends reveal a new birthday song and dance. Gifts are given for the birthday girl. The last gift is special in deed. Her mother surprises her with the fulfillment of one of her dreams. She is led to a soccer field that has special memories for her. Her father, who was killed during a peace keeping mission with the United Nations used to take the family to this field. On the field, her dream comes true.
