A woman answers her kitchen door; it’s a friend who’s come to help her give Oscar his pill. The friend asks if Oscar will bite. No, but watch out for scratches, she warns. She describes the technique: the friend will grab Oscar with a beach towel and she will pop the pill into Oscar’s mouth. Prepared, they walk slowly to the couch where the cat sits, the television on, the woman’s husband nearby. Will the strategy work? |
