A young filmmaker from North Carolina follows his father and colleagues into the farthest reaches of the Ecuadorian Amazon to stay in Huentaro, a community of Huaorani Indians. ‘Huentaro and Back’ is a look at one of the few remaining self-sufficient families in the Amazon. It is also an examination of what is happening in the surrounding jungle, and how a young American reacts to it all. |
