‘A Soldier’s Story’ is a semi-autobiographical student short that was written, directed, produced and acted by an Iraq war veteran. It is about a returning veteran contemplating suicide who opens up during a therapy session with a psychiatrist. It examines the emotional barriers combat veterans face when discussing their wartime experiences and explores many of the inner struggles they come up against when reintegrating back into civilian society. |
