Dumpwater Divas is satirical homage to 1980s dance films, childhood dreams, spandex and chasing stardom. Estranged childhood dance team “MACARONI HEAT” reunites to compete in a reunion show of the dance competition they lost 20 years ago. Christi Johnson (Jennifer Lieberman) returns to her hometown of Dumpwater, Florida, where she is a local celebrity and must convince former best friend Lindsay Whitney (Rebecca Morgan) to dance with her for a second chance at stardom Can two best friends who haven’t spoken in a decade put their differences aside for a second chance at stardom? |
