Jamaica Jamaica is about a young woman who has had emotional problems stemming from the fact that she was sent away from the family when she was quite young. Years later the family is having a reunion in Jamaica, it will be one of only a few times she has spent time with her family since childhood. As the family gathers and bonds are strengthened she seeks answers that will hopefully give her some insight into the family’s emigration to England and the effect it had on those left behind and the subsequent effect it had on the family after wards The film journeys across Jamaica capturing it’s life and spirit, you become absorbed in the magic and the rhythm of the island. |
