Aaron’s mother decides she needs help with her son. He’s 16 and she admits him into a psych unit. Aaron begs her not to, but it’s done. Aaron’s one shining light inside is Harry. He’s 17 and hides behind his witticism and smile, though there’s a lot bubbling away under the surface. The boys become friends, Harry acting as Aaron’s anchor, as Aaron’s thrust into an environment where he’s forced to acknowledge his problems. |
