I read an article about Jimmy Stewart today and I didn’t know he did a movie with Ginger Rogers. They were a couple for a short time and it seems Stewart was a ladies man. We all (for those of us who are fans of actors from the golden age of movies) assumed he was the nice guy, the guy you would want your daughter to date. NOT! I knew Clark Gable played around and he fathered Loretta Young’s daughter, Stewart got Marlene Dietrich pregnant and didn’t want to marry and he told her to have an abortion. She did and that ended that relationship quickly. The things they did back then are very common now and no bats an eye over it.
