A rockumentary combining footage of 6 concerts and one week in the studio while the legendary group TUXEDOMOON wrote and recorded their album “Cabin in the Sky”. Looking for a novel twist,a parallel voice has been incorporated for this film by weaving in a lecture about continental movement by a world renowned seismologist, Paul Tapponnier. The Film also play with mixing parts of live video-sound recordings taken from different places on and off stage in varied settings-both performance & rehearsals, to create a unique audio time-capsule. The first meeting with the group and the director was in 1980 at a NYC night club called Hurrah. It is excerpted in the bonus clips. |
