Boter (Butter) is the first short film in the series Boter, Kaas en Eieren (Butter, Cheese and Eggs, the Dutch name for tic-tac-toe). The series shows three fragments from Dutch society. Boter deals with two main subjects: miscommunication and the extinction of local and cultural traditions. |
