Alles renkt sich wieder ein! (“Everything will work out just fine!”) is a dystopian film by 3 young German film-makers, inspired by the so-called “Heimatfilme”, sentimental pieces in a regional setting. It portrays Germany in crisis and Schulze, its stereotypical protagonist, who amongst the collapsing world around him, is set on correcting a petty mistake on his tax return form. A biting social commentary, the film fuses pedantic narrow-mindedness and rural idyll and adds a pinch of chaos. |
