A dancer, cocooned in a length red fabric, hangs from the ceiling of an abandoned industrial warehouse. A violinist plays at the dancer in such a way that the knots of the fabric gradually begin to loosen, she begins to slip and spin and it looks as if she might crash into the flooded floor of the warehouse. A young woman rows, like possessed, through Berlin. In the early dawn she passes the Oberbaum bridge, rows past Watergate and other Berlin landmarks….Why? |
