Obsidian (2013) is a reworked version of my original film of the same name in 2008. This new version incorporates a less experimental style and focuses more on narrative structure, without being so fragmented. It is a short psychological horror film, about two female characters and the horror of the mind and the body. It is also the final segment to my death dream trilogy, which all consist of similar themes - death, narrative repetition, the fragmented self and the mirror. The short has an original score composed by Flyfrog music adding a Goblin-esque feel to the short film.
