A lot of young people (especially musicians) are buzzing about the city of Portland, Oregon. Rich Fueller, a filmmaker in Dallas, has several friends who have moved there from Texas. Namely, his good friend and singer-songwriter, Blake Mackey, has found a kind of haven there. Rich travels from Dallas to Portland to record Blake’s songs and find out why so many of his friends from Texas are currently living there, and to capture their daily lives and creative en devours. Saturated with colorful scenes of outsider artists and indie music, this movie sets out to take in the mood and feeling of a much talked about place. |
