Excellent movie, and well executed. Watched this for the second time as I just found there are 2 follow up movies for this,and am about to watch both. Ignore the other comment from the troll, just another idiot that saw the thumbnail and decided to run his keyboard and never even watched the movie. CLEARLY. This was nothing like Independence Day,and they/he/she or whatever personal pronoun preferred has never seen this plot ‘used oh so many times’,either. Was actually a pretty good mix of science fiction and horror, and had a great cast which executed it really well, with great special effects. Worth watching.

I first seen this movie 11 years ago. I enjoyed it more now than I did back then. There is nothing predictable about this movie.
I can’t wait to watch the sequels!

I’ve seen this plot oh so many times, so this was nothing new for me. If you saw the likes of “Independence day”, then you already know the story here. With some scenes almost the same as the aforementioned movie. Good things? The effects were pretty good, and the aliens looked pretty spooky. The bad things? Too much time spent on the on showing off the effects, instead of telling a story that would differentiate itself for the rest of the genre. It’s not a bad watch, it held mt attention to the end. But unfortunately, this movie is nothing new to chew on. Good for a one-time watch. Point given, there are worse out there. 5.5/5 stars.
