This was okay, This serius has become a love hate thing with the way the story line has gone … after Premytheus i was invested in Shaw so naturally watched Covenant to she what happens to her, but the robots seems to take center stage with the other characters doing some dumb ass shit. And then there’s the Engineers, what motivated these assholes and they are all dudes so how do they reproduce ?
from what I read in promethis, those werent the engineers, the engineers created thm to.
all the Aliens all up to and Prometheus has good Strong characters . but that totaly fails here . just dreadfull 2/5 (Edit the Bot and the Monsters were fine,no doubt - but the crew - no f way any of them would have passd the psyc test to get send in to space with that cargo.silly sad bunch.. they sould be driveing a trailerhome caravan axos Texas insted.)
What about the crazy robot, i think he kinda trys to steal the show ?
No idea why you didn’t like this. Watched this once before, but got distracted several times, really didn’t get to WATCH it. Was at a friends house to grab something, he was watching it, asked him what it was,came back, plugged it in here, remembered watching it once, sat down to watch again.
Second time around got to really watch it and be left alone to actually WATCH it, and rather enjoyed it, thought it was a great story, good science fiction, good side story to the Aliens saga.
this movie seems to go before Prometheus movie
Shaw is indeed in this movie but you might have missed her. Her fate was shown in the short films set between Prometheus and Alien:Covenant, think they’re on Youtube still.
will we ever know whay happened to shaw ?
Not as good as Prometheus but I still enjoyed it
it wasnt great and it wasnt awful i did not enjoy this as much as Prometheus bt it def had some highlights - but i did like how some synced up -nice to see the engineers get Elizabeth’s payback kinda -some of the acting in this is b grade maybe even c
