It was believed that Earth and its moon were one, until and ancient collision made them two. Just as the Earth and Moon are now their own celestial bodies, Maria and her twin sister, Selene, no longer share the bond they once had. ‘Earth Wept for the Moon’ tells of Maria’s journey through space and backward through memories to find out what has become of her sister. The heroic death of their father, the tyranny of their mother, and the tragedy at the end of it all will challenge Maria to take the extra step into the unknown to answer all of her questions. This story of sisterhood and triumph defies the notions of earthly constraints and unravels a mystery cloaked within a new-age mythology. |
