During a hand of poker, every player is telling a story. Action Junkies is the story of two players who go head to head in a game of Texas Hold ‘em. As the story unfolds, the viewer is put into the game. As in life, a game of cards is a story of incomplete information. During each step of the game, more information is revealed through flashback sequences leading up to the final stakes of the game in an all out showdown of betting, bluffing and the luck of the draw. |
