Ahmed is a typical twelve year-old boy. A universal pre-teen kid - someone we all know. His mother is troubled and dutiful, his grandmother devout in the old ways and his 14 year-old sister manifests the sibling frictions known to every family. Ahmed’s Father is just an aging photo on the wall, which he kisses goodbye every morning. But this is Israel, 2007, and few days end the same as they begin. |
