With the name of 15M Movement, they organise themselves in the squares of their cities, in a movement without leaders which is made viral throughout the world. Thousands occupy the streets to denounce the kidnapping of democracy in hand of the neo liberal system which is working for the banks. In Málaga, Spain, Constitution Square is the main stage for this collective awakening and unites people of different origins and generations. 15M: Málaga Despierta (15M: The City Wakes Up) documents some of the stories emerged from this collective awakening. The film was made collaboratively following the CopyLeft ideals and is made from hundreds of contributions from people anonymously recording in the streets. |
