Prisoner of War is set against the backdrop of the war in Vietnam. It is a story of freedom, family and faith, and a re-creation of the actual events surrounding the unexpected shoot down of a United States Air Force Fighter Pilot, one day prior to his scheduled return home. His subsequent capture and internment in the infamous Hoa Lo Prison, better known as the Hanoi Hilton, is an immersion into the very pit of Hell. Only a revelation of the true meaning of sacrifice and redemption can offer hope when everything is lost. This film honors those who have given some, and the some who have given all in time of war. It is an inspirational message to the heart and soul of every American. |
