Vast destruction and emptiness threaten to end the mission of five men. They have managed to survive the fallout of chemical warfare for years-but the time has come to risk infection and search for other survivors. The group sets out across burnt orchards and shattered buildings-but further they go, the more unsettling their solitude, and the greater the tensions within the group. When their leader falls prey to sickness, the rest fear that their journey might be hopeless. A new leader must emerge, and the survivors must face their own self-destructive actions if they are to continue forward |
