Post Apartheid South Africa has made many advances since Nelson Mandela was freed from 26 years of imprisonment. However, many inequities still exist, especially in the rural areas. This short documentary takes the viewer through a brief history of Apartheid in South Africa and progresses to the present day, where rural villages still suffer with poor living conditions, lack of basic services, virtually no employment opportunities, and outside interests who want their tribal lands for personal profits. |
