Details:

Feet hooked at the moon: the head ups down with discretion and reverence our camera gets close to the old Station of Paestum. We want to smell the dust exhaling the scent of luggage and melancholy. But we would like also to show the authorities the neglected state of the Station of Paestum. From here in the past many people emigrated to go to work far away from home. Now many people are coming here to work from all over the world. This is the place where many people’s fates cross. The soundtrack we chose is played by our friends from the Panacea-music group of Salerno. For the documentary we used many images from archives. We want this video to report the sadness of the artist Sergio Vecchio. He was born right near the Station and he is still living there. Every time he passes by he thinks: “This dear old station is asking me for HELP. Why don’t we bring it back to life and transform it into the Paestum Archive and Art Workshop?” The poetry read in this video is about the journey of emigrants on the trains of Hope. Trains from the past, trains from the present. Trains like boats in the Mediterranean Sea. Trains like clouds in the sky. Feet hooked to the moon: the head upside down. Enjoy the vision
