Jim is a teenager of African origin, adopted by a French family after her whole family was massacred. Her only passion is for Björk, who has become her secret confidante and whom she pictures surrounded by polar bears in Iceland. Recently, Jim has been very down. She refuses to eat. Doctors decide to intern her. Jim’s only way out is to flee to Iceland to see the polar bears. Her incredible journey begins, from Paris to Reykjavik via Hamburg, England and the Faroe Islands. But is it real or a figment of her imagination? Will it cure or condemn her? |
