Jim, a government funded astronomer, discovers that Earth is doomed to be struck by a massive comet in less then 24 hours. He takes his family underground but they are not prepared for the lack of food, water and clean air. As sickness strikes the parents, the kids try to hang on as long as they can. Eventually, and with nothing to lose they, try their luck at the surface to find an almost barren wasteland. |
