Darrick is like any other teenager, free to play his video games, chase girls, and hang out with friends. But, he begins to question his priorities when he has to take his Grandpa to his chemo treatment and begins to notice that there’s a bit more to the importance of family than he’s ever realized. As he watches his Grandfather interact and play cards with his chemo buddies, he begins to appreciate his Grandfather as a war veteran, husband and family man. Darrick learns his Grandpa is quitting his chemo treatments and in learning this he decides that he needs to better appreciate life, family, and the time we have with both. |
