People love to personify cities. It seems very few places receive the type of personification that Washington, DC does. This film aims to re-identify DC. Not always in a more positive way, but in a more accurate way. While we accept the idea that a city may often take on characteristics of people, we reject the characteristics being thrust upon DC in American pop-culture and hope to show DC for what it is: a place where people live (sometimes in more harsh conditions than others), love, work, and learn, among many other things. This film follows a day in the life of D.C., as if it were in fact a person, we see it wake up, live its life and ultimately return to sleep. |
