Berlin, 1995. Kalle is an odd fellow. His permanent and only companion is his television set which is continuously presenting him happenings of the outside world like the flashy colors and rave-beats of the 90s. When he accidentally meets outgoing Kai, they seem to hit it off immediately and Kalle starts fantasizing a meaningful friendship. By favors he’s doing Kai, he receives thankfulness and tribute. This knowledge he uses as a new strategy to extend his social connections. But over his clumsy and awkward attempts he’s not only frightening strangers but also threatened with loosing his new friend.
