A hand-processed 35mm CinemaScope documentary that looks at the economy and ecology of the Nile Perch, a non-indigenous fish species introduced into Lake Victoria in the late 1950s. A fisherman, living on a remote island, and his fish move through the complex network of middlemen, transporters and packaging factories. In the end all that is left is bones. |
