Shadow Hill, written and directed by Angie Fleming offers an innovative twist on the familiar stranded in the woods sub-genre. As four friends venture on a camping trip, nothing is what it seems when Brooke (Pia O’Connell) has a serious of nightmares that suggest they have all been here before. Reassured by her boyfriend Ky, (Christian Cocciolone) and their two friends Zee (Blake Francis) and Trey (Patrick Bell) that its’ all but a bad dream, Brooke cannot seem to shake the familiar feeling. When the group gather around the campfire for the night, everything changes when Ky hears a women screaming in the woods. Desperate to prove it’s not all in his head, Ky runs towards the woods to an abandoned cabin with Brooke and Zee as Trey remains by the fire. Once inside a serious of events begin to unfold as Brooke stumbles across an old locket. Opening a portal, Brooke, Ky and Zee are forced back in time and faced with the reality that everything is not what it seems. Trey becomes outraged and Brooke’s nightmare quickly becomes a reality.
