Duets explores the pull between withdrawal and engagement. Duets was filmed in, and through the glass, of an aquarium tank. Within the confined space, a dance unfolds between water and animal life. The experience brings thoughts of isolation, limitation and entrapment, yet we do not know the reality within the bowl, as used as metaphor for our own life or those we think we are close to. |
