Robert McCanlass and Evelyn Loman merely saw each other across the room at a party several weeks ago and, although did not meet, felt a connection. Weeks later, they finally run into each other again at an exhibit of really bad monochromatic art. Desperately attracted to each other, they strike up an awkward conversation while their inner thoughts flip between hope and hopeless. The conversation takes a bizarre twist as their inner voices and outer voices collide. And although it looks like their chances of getting together is doomed by the ensuing verbal disaster, their deeper connection pulls them through in this sweet, romantic, and amusing look at “The Art Of Conversation”. |
