A young mother ( Sarah) originally from a small Midwest town trying to do the best she can, runs away from living in Los Angeles and from her abusive boyfriend with their daughter ( Kate) to a small Texas town. A small town deputy (Hunter) is put in a position to arrest her but gives her a break. He may end up giving her more then just a break but a chance at a new life. |
