You, Me, and Fitz shows the sweet, intimate relationship between Ellie, an older woman, and her tenant, Jamie. When Jamie is offered a better teaching position outside of town, he struggles to balance his conflicting desires of wanting to accept the job while, at the same time, wanting to stay with Ellie. Meanwhile, Ellie grapples with her own inner- conflicts; she wants Jamie to remain in her life, but, at the same time, she wants what is best for him. Letting him go, would mean accepting her age and the loneliness that sometimes accompanies it. |
