A psychologist, fired for breech of confidentiality, now pays his clients for their stories. He records their life stories on cassette tape and fantasises that they’re his own. Whether they’re happy, sad, uplifting or traumatic, he takes notice, as long as they’re interesting. Through his profession as a psychologist, he came to realise that his life as it was, was overwhelmingly lacklustre and the only eventful aspect of his life, were the stories of his clients. So now he embraces this realisation and moulds his life around it. However, he is uncomfortable with the emotional effects that this may have. So he himself is now going through therapy, as an outlet to express his feelings on his new way of thinking.
