Spoiler ALERT! Marlene’s performances in the Saloon have absolutely got to be where Madeline Kahn got her performance from. Actually her whole character had to have come from this movie LOL. Great movies both of them! The funniest thing about this movie is Destry hoes around spouting his folksy stories and using his brain without using a gun. Then when the whole thing gets down to the wire out come ALL the guns and he uses a gun to finally take care of the criminals meanwhile the sheriff and the girl get killed because his gun less idea doesn’t really work. LOL.
