Written and directed by Pixar veteran Teddy Newton, The Studio of Tomorrow tours its viewers through a futuristic science lab devoted to experimental machines designed to write, draw, and animate computerized forms with little to no help from the artist. This imaginative and unusual film holds the promise of a future free from creative struggle once animators embrace the computers predominance. The film also features an unexpected cameo appearance by famed film director, Brad Bird.
