Philip Glass tells the audience about his experience with Sufi culture and music while Pakistani Sufi musicians interpret different songs in their own country. Excerpts of Monsters of Grace, a contemporary theatre music composition by P. Glass and B. Wilson after the Sufi poet Rumi, are intercut so that the film is a mixture of ancient eastern and contemporary western cultures strongly interrelated. |
