In this failed coming of age story, young artist Sonny returns home to a troubled past. A controlling, misunderstood half brother Jon, an all too obvious substance dependency and the sorrow after the sudden loss of his mother. Dealing with his difficult decision to leave home after high school - he searches for a new path after abandoning sweetheart Jade.
